Deadpool is really awesome. You should go see it. Do not take your small children with you as several people decided to do. Saw at least 2 kids under 10 and one little girl that was around 4. Lots of preteens and young teens but that's less of a problem.

I agree with all of this. I will also add you might not want to take your mom

My mom doesn't like violent movies.

I intend to see it. I never understand the parents who take small kids to an R movie. Never mind sensitive topics and bad language. What about the nightmares?

I’ve never been into super hero movies or comic books of any kind. Would it still be good considering all of that?

You just don’t understand. You can’t be the ‘cool mom’ if you don’t take your kids to see R rated movies and let the boyfriend sleep over without even asking if they use condoms.
Oh, and don’t forget to leave the alcohol cabinet unlocked when you and the ‘cool dad’ go on vacation for a week to aspen.

Then definitely don't take your mom

I think so. I don't usually watch them either with the exception of the most recent batman movies. Very funny. Reynolds does a great job

Lots of graphic violence and cussing. A little nudity and sex.
Not stuff I want a 4 year old seeing

To add, my gf really doesn't like those types of movies and she loves them.

So it’s a recommend from Dusty as well.

Yes yes yes.
Beyond the fact that it’s a superhero flick, it’s FLIPPING HILARIOUS. If anything, it takes a LOT of shots at past superhero flicks, and actual CLEVER digs, at that.

The “little nudity” may have been short in time, but it was pretty substantial in what was shown. Beyond Morena Baccarin’s scenes, there’s full-frontal in the strip club (we were sitting in the front row at an Alamo Drafthouse, and I was NOT prepared for that, as close as I was sitting, with a mouthful of bacon cheese fries), and when Ajax impales Deadpool in the burning lab, Ryan Reynolds’ CGI-mutated junk is dangling out there for all to see.
Hilarious, entertaining, smart...but definitely not for the kiddos.
So many brains splattered everywhere.

I’ll try and go see it.

I dunno. I guess it depends on your nudity sensitivity. With the lighting in the strip club you could be fooled into it being just topless. Morena Baccarin was naked but never exposed but they were pretty explicit. The junk is barely noticeable. My gf didn’t see it till I pointed it out to her.
Personally nudity and sex bother me way less than violence. I'm pretty much the opposite of most Americans. When the violence is so over the top like in the movie it is almost funny but the really realistic stuff that they do in movies and tv sometimes gets to me on occasion.
